Dropoff and Pickup

Dropoff

Sessions at Camp Woodbrooke run from Sunday, early afternoon, until Saturday noon. All campers will be assigned a specific drop-off window (between 1:00pm-4:00pm) to prevent too many cars coming down our narrow drive, and to make for a smooth drop-off process. Included in that process will be the following:

  • Meeting Summer Camp Director, Jill, and Administrative Director, Molly.

  • Collection of any missing paperwork or outstanding fees.

  • Headlice check.

  • Pocketknife collection (your camper’s knife will be stored until a safety course is passed).

  • Meeting with the camp volunteer doctor to discuss medications, health issues, or behavioral concerns. If your camper has none, you may skip this step.

  • Meeting your cabin counselor and helper – and all your new friends!

Pickup

On Saturday, the last day of your camper’s session, we’ll gather to share stories. Ideally, schedule will be:

  • Arrive between 10:30-11:15 am

  • Please pull up to the fence to load up your camper’s gear, then turn your car around and park along the road facing away from camp. You can also just park on the road if you don’t mind hauling gear a little further.

  • Greet your happy camper!

  • Look at the lost and found! There will be a lot. ;-)

  • Claim your camper’s leftover medications.

  • Let your camper show you around.

  • At 11:30 Join your camper and their friends for a sharing circle to hear all about their favorite camp moments,

  • Homeward bound!
