Please come dressed for work, in comfortable clothes that can get dirty, and close-toed shoes. Any tools or implements you can bring would be helpful: sturdy gloves, garden shears, rakes, shovels.
Lunch will be picnic style - please bring your own. Fresh water will be available for filling your own bottle.
In the Spring and Fall we host work weekends at camp, and in the Summer there are many ways to assist while camp is in session. We welcome offers to help us spread the word about Camp Woodbrooke.
Spring and Fall Volunteers
We have projects that fit a wide range of skills. Organizing books, setting up the kitchen, clearing trails, cutting brush, repairing windows, and general building maintenance. We also till and plant the garden. Please let us know if you'd like to help!
Summer Volunteers
Summer volunteers are invited to help throughout the camp sessions assisting with the garden, food service, arts and crafts, recreational leadership, grounds mowing, maintenance, life guarding, camp craft, nature lore, campfire programs, or transporting campers, bikes or canoes and other possible ways. We seek mature adult volunteers who come from all walks of life and enjoy being around young people. They may include doctors, nurses, social workers, tradespersons, maintenance persons, teachers, business executives, college students, engineers, retirees, and many other 'professions'. Please contact us at office@campwoodbrooke.org.
Camp Woodbrooke believes in science and in the efficacy of vaccination against COVID. We strongly encourage all to get vaccinated.

We invite you to join us as we get camp ready in the spring and for shutting down in the fall. We share meals and have fun working together. There is also the opportunity to stay overnight. If you have any questions, please contact us at office@campwoodbrooke.org.
