  Open House - May 21, 2017

Come to our Open House on May 21, 2017.  You will have a chance to visit with our director and her family, see the cabins where your child(ren) will be staying, and to see the rest of camp.  You can hike as much as you wish!  We will also be doing some more camp preparation at that time and you are welcome to help us if you wish.  Hope to see you there.  If you wish to join us for meals on either Saturday or Sunday, there is a small fee.  If you are planning on staying for meals or overnight, please fill out the Registration Form and return it to us otherwise the Registration Form isn't needed for just being there.  Click here to go to the Open House web page with more information and the registration form.

  Family Camp - September 2-4, 2017

Please join us at Family camp this year.   Enjoy the beauty of Camp Woodbrooke's location and experience the gathered community that will develop as we hike, swim, play, sing and prepare meals together and go to sleep listening to owls and tree frogs.  The limit will be 50 persons.

Camp Woodbrooke will provide leadership, lifeguards, seven meals, mattresses for bunks and schedule fun and lively activities.  You will bring enthusiasm and help make the weekend fun for all.

The weekend begins with Saturday lunch and there is an evening campfire that evening.  It ends with a simple noon meal on Monday.

Daytime activities may include hikes, swimming, use of the potter’s wheel, various crafts, games and shared meal preparations and clean up.  There will be unscheduled times that many children and all will spend on the tire swing, wading in the creek and playing tetherball.  Older folks may wish to take quiet walks, go help in the garden, read, or simply watch what all is happening.

Evening, campfires, singing, storytelling and stargazing end each day.

Camp Woodbrooke has six open-sided cabins with eight built-in bunks and floor space.  You may bring your own tent if you prefer.  There is a showerhouse with flush toilets, showers and warm water.  Our facilities are simple and rustic.  The cabins have no electricity.

Costs are to be determined yet.
