Camp Woodbrooke’s supporters are committed to the challenging, but achievable, task of making the camp financially stable.
How can you help?
For Camp Woodbrooke to be permanently successful, we need the following:
- Donations to help camp families pay tuition. Each year we grant about $25,000 in assistance to campers which results in a very diverse, wonderful camp. Long term we would like to have a permanent fund for this support.
- Donations to help with some delayed facility maintenance and possible improvements. With an annual total of at least $5000 we might be able to just keep abreast of urgent needs. Additional funds would allow us to make some improvements. Our kitchen appliances (especially the large freezer and refrigerator) are old and we worry about their reliability.
- Financial pledges for future years. The camp’s financial stability depends on having a cushion of committed support for several years. Your support for an Endowment Fund would be greatly appreciated.
We must continue to increase camper enrollments. While Camp Woodbrooke is designed to be a small camp, full enrollments not only create an optimal camp atmosphere, but help to keep the camp financially healthy. People who learn of the camp are often excited and surprised to discover such a treasure. We would like to enlist everyone’s creativity to let more people know about Woodbrooke, to have a maximum number of campers in 2010.
Camp Woodbrooke meets special and important needs in the lives of many children and their families. Please support Camp Woodbrooke with a generous, tax-deductible donation, and consider pledging for the future.

Thanks to you, children will continue to spend summer after summer at a camp that nurtures the whole child and the whole community. |
